  • The Three Kinds Of Affiliate Marketers

    In this article let me describe three kinds of “Affiliate Marketers” and how each of them are different.

    1. Affiliate Marketing Partner
    You become an Affiliate Marketing Partner when you join an affiliate or associate marketing program and then put links or use other means including sending emails to help to sell the products for a vendor/company. Whenever you make a sale you will get a commission. The vendor knows who to pay the commission to because there is a code for each affiliate. Also note that there are different rules for different programs.

    2. Super Affiliate
    Everyone of us starts off as an affiliate marketing partner. But when you commit your time and effort and are coachable, you will improve. After a few months of sweat and tears you will get the hang of it and eventually you’ll become a Super Affiliate and will reap the benefits and experience the joy.

    And all that a Super Affiliate does is to use his web-site to advertise a product often with outstanding success. Super affiliates are people who have acquired the skills to advertise and promote products that are particularly rewarding which help to swell their wealth.

    Sometimes to bring about more sales the Super Affiliates would write Product Reviews to assist their potential customers to see beyond the features described on a sales page.

    3. Joint Venture Partner
    Often a vendor/company will seek out a super affiliate to be its Joint Venture Partner. They organize a “tailor-made” marketing effort.

    The vendor will usually provide extra tools and/or support to allow the Joint Venture partner to sell the product more effortlessly.

    That is a win-win situation because the vendor can expose his product to the significantly huge number of customers that a JV Partner has.

    It would be especially profitable if the JV partner has a list of customers who require such a product. In other words, it is a targeted offer.

    It’s simply because the needs of the customers are met in the publicity material in contrast to the advertisments that target a large scale general audience. That’s because the JV Partner is in a position to know what his customers need or want.

    They know that to promote unrelated products will not bring good results and will even cause them to lose their credibility.

    And the most wealthy and successful affiliates take the extra time to describe the features and benefits with a personal touch.

    Also, if you want to be really successful promoting a product, I suggest that you do your best to learn about it and explain its features/benefits and even to point out the negative, as often being honest about what is not so good about a product will help establish your credibility.
