Bookings are the life-line of your business. Haven’t you heard this over and over? If you’re in the home-based party plan industry, you’ve found this phrase to be words to live by!
Are you generating the dollars you need to make each month to take to the bank to cover your NM expenses, regular bills, feed your slush fund or save for your dream vacation? If not, your calendar may be the problem!
Is your calendar filled with working opportunities to present your business plan or product? If not, why not? They just don’t hop in there because you want to be busy!
Scheduling and good time management are two essential skills you need to master in the network marketing arena. If you don’t command your time, quickly someone else or something else will take advantage of it.
My friend Sally is working hard at her network marketing business but she just doesn’t seem to generate the income she really needs. I believe it has something to do with her calendar! She doesn’t really have a great system in place to follow.
A hot tip for Sally would be to overbook her calendar in the first couple of weeks of the month. This may feel a bit over-whelming to her at first, but it could save her bank account in the long run. But when that occasional reschedule or cancellation happens, her bank account won’t suffer as much as if she didn’t plan for it.
If your calendar is already overloaded with opportunities, you’re on the right track. But if it’s not, have you implemented a system to handle rescheduled appointments? Can you live without making any money when this happens to you?
